What does Shwink stand for?

Stains are universal and largely unavoidable. And yet we think we've failed when they happen. This is why we can't wear nice things... we chastise. But actually, the most interesting, fun, full days often come with a stain or two. Shwink helps you to stop stressing over stains, and to keep living your beautiful, messy, glorious life.

Woman is smiling holding a baby and toddler whose faces are away from the camera. She is holding an on-the-go stain spray called Shwink - in a glossy green aluminium bottle with a caramel colour stain-lifting cape. Green hedge and white palings in the background.

Shwink's Origin Story

As a new mother, Alison wanted to go out with her new baby and feel some semblance of being put together. Unfortunately, every time she was out or about to leave the house, she saw a stain. Sick of the laundry piling up, ironing new outfits, and feeling like a failure, she invented the first prototype of what would grow to become Shwink's on-the-go stain remover...

Shwink's science-backed formula

After working for two years with a Chartered Chemist, testing different formulas on hundreds of stains, and countless fabric types, Shwink's pH neutral, bleach-free formula full of plant-based ingredients, was born. Shwink tackles life's most common stains, including coffee, tea, oil, sauce, chocolate, food, makeup, dirt and so much more.

Resting on a light wood table are three items - a baby waterbottle with clear bottom and pink top, a flat white with coffee art in a white porcelain cup and saucer, and an on-the-go stain remover called Shwink in a glossy green aluminium bottle with a caramel coloured stain lifting cape.

Not all heroes wear capes, but this one does

Shwink combines science and ease, ensuring you have everything you need to tackle stains when you're on-the-go. Without the right cloth to remove a stain, you can do more damage - think of tissues that disintegrate onto your clothes, or a napkin that dyes your blouse a different colour! So, every Shwink comes with a custom stain-lifting 380GSM microfibre cape that pairs perfectly with Shwink's formula to lift stains. Yay!
